On Friday, November 2nd at 8am, an idea was born. I knew that if I could even get it to happen, it would be a massive race against the clock. Without the help of the following people, our “Pop-Up Philanthropy” could never have existed, and the over 50 people and families who were placed into a hotel room for one or more nights would never have had the relief they so desperately needed. So let’s have a round of applause for the Race2RecoverNYC team, and more importantly to the many, many generous souls who donated their hotel rooms to those in need.
